Applications Engineering Intern The goal of HydraForce’s internship program is to develop future engineering resources for our organization while providing support to our Engineering groups. We structure the engineering internship to allow candidates the opportunity to develop knowledge and skill-sets unique to our industry. Project tasks reflect an increasing level of technical complexity based on demonstrated proficiency and success on prior assignments. Although there is no guarantee of employment, it is our goal to have our interns fully capable of stepping into an entry level engineering position upon graduation

Role Responsibility

• Assemble/test prototype valves and circuits in our Application Engineering lab.
• Assist with application R&D testing and vehicle technical support
• Assist with instrumentation and motion control CAN based controller programming
• Conduct scheduled calibration on test instrumentation
• Create / prepare material used for trade shows
• Assist Technical Services group with customer inquiries
• Collect and analyze prototype test data and report writing

The Ideal Candidate

 Qualifications:

• Committed to an engineering college undergraduate program
• Advanced computing/computer knowledge and experience
• Good written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Self-directed and motivated
• Good technical/mechanical aptitude
• Good organizational skills
• Able to work independently, as well as in a team environment

Majors Desired:

Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
