Electronics Engineering Lead
Job Introduction
Responsible for managing the duties of the Electronics Group, including design, research, prototyping, engineering documentation, estimating and process improvement.
Role Responsibility

- Support the team to develop new products
- Provides day-to-day guidance and oversight to team members
- Keeps up to date on overall activities of the team, identifying problem areas and taking corrective actions
- Manages project transitions between functional groups and project phases
- Leads the Designing, developing, and testing new features in applications
- Responsibility for design and implementation of software products using C#
- Solve design problems; adapt, alter, and/or improve existing products
- Collaborate with Testing, Purchasing and shop/assembly teams on design projects
- Participate in cross-functional teams to address and resolve Manufacturing, Design and Quality problems, and ensure the continuous, on-going improvement of processes and methods
- Drive continuous efficiency and effectiveness in day-to-day activities
- Provide technical support to other engineers
- Support the organization with sharing and implementing best practices across all locations
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Supervisory Responsibilities
- Lead Electronics Group staff (US & Italy Team)
The Ideal Candidate
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical or computer Engineering, related field or relevant experience
- 10 plus years’ work experience
- Programming experience with C, C#, C++, Xaml
- Comfortable with front-end and back-end development
- Knowledge of microelectronics hardware and firmware programming
- Proven experience with software design and OOD methodologies
- Strong in object oriented programming, MVVM, MVC, Design patterns and SOLID principles
- Knowledge of documentation and analysis software; PDMLink, PECN, ECN
- Knowledge of SIL and PLd safety ratings
- Knowledge of hydraulic principles preferred
- Basic understanding of valve types and functions; valve symbols and valve port logic preferred
- Ability to plan, schedule, coordinate and problem solve effectively
- Ability to interact with individuals and departments throughout the organization
- Accurate and detail oriented, with the ability to follow through on tasks and objectives
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong organizational skills

- Lift and move a minimum of 5 pounds without assistance
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment, occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions. The noise level in the work environment can be moderate.
Travel Requirements
20-25% if remote. 10-15% if Onsite. Some international required.
