Manifold Production Supervisor
Job Introduction
Responsible for Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost of manifold production. Role is directly responsible for the Team Leaders and Production workers.

Duties and Responsibilities
The following reflects essential functions for this job but does not restrict the tasks that may be assigned. It is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as the company may deem necessary
- Work with team members to complete tasks in the assembly process. This would include some or all the following Prep, Deburring, Power washing, SAE installation, Expander Plug Installation, Valve Assembly, Testing, Fitting Installation, Verification, Packaging.
- Fill assembly orders from start to finish according to company quality standards
- Read blueprints, instruction sheets, PCP’s and other vital production documents
- Log information on daily or weekly log sheets as required by department
- Set up gauges, scanners, and other equipment as required for assembly purposes
- Prepare parts for next step in production
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Move up and down assembly line stations
- Able to build a manifold from deburring to packing
- Able to solve manor assembly issues
- Solve minor issues at testing
- Share experience with new to task people
- Maintain area of work to 7s standards
- Report to supervisor any violation to processes and/or property
- Fill out R.I.P for throughput improvement
- Fill out Standard Work
- Able to finish an order from stock pulling to receiving into shipping
- Able to identify constraints and break queues
- Able to test on any test bench
- TWI Trainer
- Able to identify MAL Standards
- Able to improve and maintain 7s
- Create work instructions
- Able to understand daily throughput (VOC/COP)
- Able to maintain TAK TIME
- Follow up on equipment calibration
- Able to use Fourth Shift
- Able to use Q-Pulse
- Log in combo and valve line failures
- Understand and update Metrics board
- Prioritize production scheduling
- Solve RMA’s9 (From: Containment To: Corrective)
- Update customers on production status
- Place order with suppliers
- Qualified to update processes by hand
- Initiate MCR
- Inventory control
- Increase saving cost
- APQP process review
- Involve in Engineering design
- Able to solve major production issues
- Able to lead MRB
- Able to create NCMR
- Able to identify waste
- Able to create Short Form FMEA
- Increase Throughput
- Full production test fixture review
- Coordinate flow of material between plants
- Create action for contamination in blocks
- Prevent and identify safety hazards
- Personnel conflict issue solver
- Able to discipline workers
- Lead internal and external audits
- Solve nonconforming findings from Audits
- Identify high risk failures and prevent them from happening
- Able to share production improvements globally
- Able to update FMEA
- Able to use Minitab, power point and Creo
- Back on time to work area after breaks and lunch
- No absentee point
The Ideal Candidate
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous manufacturing experience a plus
- Previous assembly experience a plus
- Ability to function as part of a team
- Must be comfortable working with manual tools and power tools
- Basic reading and writing skills in English
- Basic math skills or ability to use a calculator
- Knowledge of simple machines or tools
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, use of scanner, microscope, and various manually operated gauges by hand.
- Must be able to meet quality and productivity standards
- Must be able to multi-task
Physical Requirements
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to do the following:
- Ability to stand for duration of shift
- Lift and move 15 -50 pounds without assistance
- Working with parts of various sizes and weight
- Repetitive hand/arm motion
