Sr. Salesforce Administrator & Developer

Job Introduction

Position Summary:

Provides experienced systems administration and analysis skills in the system support and development of Salesforce platform (SFDC) applications

Role Responsibility

Provide system administration of internal and customer-facing SFDC environment, especially related to customized applications, user permissions, system security settings, custom objects and workflow

Maintain Sales Cloud, Communities, Einstein Analytics, RootStock configurations

Monitor application storage usage and archive data as needed

Data management including importing data as appropriate, monitoring and managing exception logs for back end system integration with SFDC; managing duplicate records; identify and developing improved data interfaces and integrations with other systems

Generate business requirements and project ROI; design business processes and the related application systems; estimate resources and completion time frames

Develop customized solutions within the SFDC platform to support critical business functions and meet project objectives, client requirements and company goals

Collaborate with various internal departments, including Marketing, Product Development and Operations, to ensure Salesforce environment supports internal needs relating to functionality and performance

Serve as the subject matter expert for solution architecture  

Maintain, enhance and create workflows, functions and configurations within the Salesforce.com environment

Perform other duties as assigned by manager

The Ideal Candidate

Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) in related field or equivalent work experience

Experience with manufacturing or distribution industries, preferably with a global organization

3 years of SFDC administration experience and  SFDC development experience

Salesforce administration certification required; further certification preferred

Extensive experience with SFDC platform and Sales Cloud

Experience with SFDC based ERP Quote to Order Cash processing and/or CPQ

In-depth knowledge of the standard capabilities of SFDC and custom code (Apex, s-controls) and integration with external systems

Strong understanding of Salesforce Declarative Programming and Administration (develop code, custom objects, Visual Force pages, Apex, reports, workflows and assignment rules

Experience creating and maintaining SFDC reporting, workflows and enhanced functions

Solid understanding of web technologies such as HTTP, JavaScript, AJAX, HTML, DHTML, CSS

Experience with SQL and relational databases

Experience with MuleSoft administration or development is a plus.  

Proficient in MS Office software

Strong verbal and written English communication skills

Able to manage multiple projects involving various end users

Customer service oriented

Able to meet deadlines and communicate status updates on a regular basis

Flexible and adaptive; self-directed and require minimal supervision
